Last additions to the festival
Today we give the last names for our festival days from Thursday to Saturday (which leaves us with Wednesday which will soon be revealed, though we can already tell there will be a huge amount of ECHO involved)
On Thursday at Butcher's Tears we add the more live acts. Expect some crazy noise performance by Betty Poop best known as part of the notorious FCKN BSTRDS and some experimental sounds and visuals from Jikuuuuuuuuuuu who is part of noise act JIKU55. To wrap this evening together DJ Peter Quistgard will play some mad tunes.
On Friday we add DJ Datnapoku to the OCCII where he will spin some obscure tunes from his amazing record collection.
While in De Peper for sure you will get your hips shaking with DJ The No who will spin some electro, Handless DJ all the way from Brussels with some amazing Italo house together with dj Nikolai van Zeeland who with various electronic tunes and two live performances by Bert Scholten who makes weird pop tunes and the Groninger duo Vakantie that is responsible for some weird house tunes.
At OT301 / Studio we have the special curated CineSonic program with live soundtracks by Raphael Vanoli & Seamus Cater and Mark4Reel to the avant-garde cinema by Hans Richter and Walter Ruttmann.
This will be followed by a dance night which is completed with Dutch producer Jonas The Plugexpert. In De Vondelbunker to mix all the various artists together we have DJ Rege Satanas who you should know as one of the regular DJ's from Red Light Radio.
Saturday at the OCCII we get Dylan Nyoukis to play some of his avant-garde noise music, which will be followed by our local Improv noise band Plattetozti Noise Orkest. Or how about some Noodles? For sure you will get them with Colloid, Mono-poly and Boris Scorpio from the Noodle Bar. And to finish the night in style we get WTF! Saturday, best known for the Amsterdam Drag Queer parties. Though before all this kicks-off, DJ Gingermoon will play some tunes.
At OT301 / Studio that evening will be total focus on loud pumping techno, acid and gabba. To complete the line-up there we have added DJ Shipwrec and T03K. During this evening there will be Visual [T]Error Paralyzing Device to deliver some mad visuals.
In De Peper DOEK presents Chillin' 4TET which will bring an amazing mix of improvisation with jazz standards. Which will be followed by the big Impro Jam (don't forget to bring your instrument).
And completing the musical program on Saturday at the Vondelbunker we have Otolitos, a trio that will bring you some amazing improvised noise rock.
Besides music there will also be other events.
On Friday we have a circuit bent workshop with Luc van Weelden at Budapest.
On Saturday there will be a lecture about Metamodernism by Niels van Poecke at De Ventilatiekamer in OT301 (that's the room next to the cinema).
And also on Saturday there will be a big underground label and art market at De Vondelbunker, where various labels and artists will present their work.
