This space, this jam session, has been created for practice, development, exchange and enjoyment of free improvisation and experimental music.
A very special monthly series with the purpose of generating a space where musicians from different backgrounds can play together in the context of free improvisation. Dancers, painters, poets, etc. are also welcome to join the jam. Each month a different group opens for two hours of impro jam! Imagine how stimulating it could be, even as a listener, to experience diverse performers in action with the unique fresh spirit of improvisation. COME TO PLAY AND SHARE THE MUSIC!!!!
Impro Jam is led by Ada Rave (Sax) / Nico Chientaroli (Piano) / Renato Ferreira (double bass) / George Hadow (drums). All musicians primarily working in the fields of composition, free improvisation and Jazz.
