Régis Lemberthe’s pieces are attempts at sonifying things into stories, and take the shape of sculptures made of moving sounds and images. along with whatever materials produce them. His original project Glass Nest generated abstract noise tracks from cracking ice, dripping water and whistling steam, and more recent projects consist in capturing the erratic trajectories of bristle bots swarms into sound (Orbital Resonnance), harvesting feedback noise from a no-input mixer (Noisette), or transcribing dynamically-generated images into sound through custom software (Lissajous). He has created sound pieces and devices with theatre group REPLICA, and collaborated with various musicians among which Or Sarfati, Wissam Sader, Uchi, DFVOKKLL, Analytical Engine and Noise-Hop wannabe-idol The Next Christina Aguilera. Régis is also one of the little hands behind Berlin-based experimental music series Noiseberg.
